A veneer mock-up: what to evaluate

A preview is a conversation tool. It helps you discuss shape, length, and the overall impression before committing to the final design.

What to discuss at your appointment

Evaluate the smile at normal distance and in photographs. Describe any feature that feels too broad, long, or bright. Ask which aspects of the preview can be reproduced and which remain approximate. Keep a dated record of agreed changes, especially if more than one person is coordinating your case.

Three questions to take with you

  1. What does this preview represent?
  2. What can still be changed?
  3. How will my feedback be recorded?

Plan your next step

Write down the answers, the proposed appointments, and any information the office needs from you. If the explanation is unclear, ask for a written summary before deciding. Your own goals and the findings of an examination should guide the final choice.
